1. Eligibility for Returns

To be eligible for a return, the following conditions must be met:

  • Timeframe: The product must be returned within 30 days from the date of delivery.

  • Condition: The product must be unused, unopened, and in its original packaging with all seals intact. Products that have been opened, used, or damaged are not eligible for return, except in cases of defective or damaged products (see Section 3).

  • Proof of Purchase: You must provide proof of purchase, such as an order confirmation email or receipt, to process a return.

  • Purchase Source: Returns are accepted only for products purchased directly through the Vitaran Skincare website or authorized retailers. Products purchased from unauthorized sellers are not eligible for returns through Vitaran.

2. Return Process

To initiate a return, please follow these steps:

  1. Contact Us: Email our customer support team at support@vitaranskincare.com with your order number, reason for return, and any relevant details (e.g., photos of defective products).

  2. Return Authorization: We will review your request and, if approved, provide a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number and return shipping instructions. Returns without an RMA number will not be accepted.

  3. Ship the Product: Package the product securely in its original packaging and ship it to the address provided in the RMA instructions. You are responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to our error (e.g., incorrect or defective product).

  4. Inspection: Once we receive and inspect the returned product, we will notify you via email about the approval or rejection of your return.

3. Defective or Damaged Products

If you receive a product that is defective, damaged, or incorrect, please contact us within 7 days of delivery at support@vitaranskincare.com. Provide your order number and photos of the issue. If approved:

  • We will provide a prepaid shipping label for the return.

  • You may choose a replacement product or a full refund, including any original shipping costs.

  • Replacements are subject to product availability. If a replacement is unavailable, a refund will be issued.

4. Refunds

  • Refund Approval: Refunds will be processed within 7 business days after we receive and inspect the returned product, provided it meets the eligibility criteria.

  • Refund Method: Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used for the purchase. Please allow 5–10 business days for the refund to appear in your account, depending on your bank or payment provider.

  • Non-Refundable Items: Shipping costs, gift cards, and promotional items are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error.

  • Partial Refunds: In some cases, we may issue partial refunds for products that are returned in a condition that does not fully meet our eligibility criteria (e.g., partially used products, at our discretion).

5. Exceptions

  • Allergies or Sensitivities: Due to the nature of skincare products, including those containing ingredients like Retinol, Niacinamide, or Salmon DNA (PDRN), we recommend performing a patch test before use. Returns due to allergic reactions or skin sensitivities will be considered on a case-by-case basis and may require proof of adverse reaction (e.g., medical documentation).

  • Promotional or Discounted Items: Products purchased during sales or with promotional discounts may be subject to specific return conditions, which will be communicated at the time of purchase.

6. International Returns

For international orders, the customer is responsible for return shipping costs and any applicable customs fees, except in cases of defective or incorrect products. Please contact us for specific instructions, as return processes may vary by region.
